Addressing the pain points of traditional net-cage aquaculture—low levels of intelligence and high labor costs—we have developed an intelligent aquaculture net-cage system that integrates automated equipment for feed delivery, underwater monitoring, net cleaning, and adult fish harvesting. Paired with a smart fisheries IoT platform, this system enables digital management and control across the entire aquaculture process. Through underwater sonar, high-definition cameras and various sensors, the growth status and water quality parameters (water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH value, etc.) of fish schools can be monitored in real time, the body length, weight and health status of each fish can be accurately grasped, and the "fish face recognition" type of fine management can be realized. The automatic baiting system can be fed regularly, quantitatively and accurately according to the growth demand of fish schools, water flow direction and other factors, reducing feed waste by more than 40%, at the same time, reduce the intensity of manual labor. In the past, ten people worked hard for a day, but now one person can complete it in half an hour. Some high-end net cages are even equipped with 5G communication technology, enabling remote control and allowing farmers to monitor offshore aquaculture operations without leaving home, truly achieving “unmanned farming and intelligent management.”
